Steve and Barbara Schenck began Schenck and Schenck Photography
in 1977, using a 4x5 camera and photographing art for artists,
museums and galleries. They also specialized in public relations
photography and photo restoration, honing the art of hand printing
black and white enlargements. Quickly expanding to include weddings,
bar and bat mitzvahs, portraits, and event photography, the Schencks
have worked together to create interesting, beautiful images for
their clients.
The
Schencks continue to offer a full range of photographic services
from traditional silver prints, hand-developed in the darkroom to
digital imaging and design. Their eclectic interests and skills
have driven their business services, so that photographing weddings
and bar/bat mitzvahs often parallels with commercial assignments
or photo restoration work. The Schencks meet with clients by appointment
at their office in the Claremont Village. Evening and weekend meetings
are available.
